Important: Deleting your data is permanent and cannot be undone. Please make sure you want to proceed before following these instructions.
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you request data deletion, we will remove:
- Your user profile and account information
- Location data and preferences
- Messages and communications
- Activity history and usage data
- Any uploaded content or media
How to Request Data Deletion
Option 1: Through the App
- Open the yalla lebnen app
- Go to Settings → Account Settings
- Select "Delete Account"
- Follow the confirmation steps
Option 2: Email Request
- Send an email to: gemshootsae@gmail.com
- Subject: "Data Deletion Request"
- Include your registered email address
- Include your username (if you remember it)
- We will respond within 24 hours to confirm
Timeline
Once we receive your deletion request:
- Immediate: Your account will be deactivated
- Within 30 days: All your data will be permanently deleted from our servers
- Backup systems: Data may remain in encrypted backups for up to 90 days for security purposes, then permanently deleted
What Cannot Be Deleted
Some information may be retained for legal or safety reasons:
- Records of reported violations or safety issues
- Transaction records (if applicable)
- Information required by law to be retained
